Been fascinated with hitching posts since moving here.
Remember calling around to antique stores to inquire if they had any for sale.
Don't remember seeing a square one.
These are located on the main east & west road.

Acchy neck ...

4 yo grandson fell asleep @ 9AM, before we even hit the black top.
Guess he was T-I-R-E-D....
By the time we headed back home around noon his eyes were drooping again. If we'd had further to drive he would have taken a second nap.
He did take another nap that day. Woke up, asked about his uncles, then went back to sleep.
Wish I could nap with my ankle on top of my other knee.

Metal chin bar removed ...

Sent an email & had the lower metal chin bar removed.

4 yo grandson ran into it at eye level. Knocked him off his feet & ended up with a nasty bruise.

Leaning building

Had a wind claim on this out building.

With a 1,000$ deductible it wasn't much, but it adds up.
We can tear it down before it lands on a beltie.
Neighbor use to park vehicle during hail storms.
Now it is only used for shade.

Utility poles ...

These are NOT telephone poles.
They are utility poles. The telephone co. is usually the lowest line.
Dh is an electrical engineer so I learned early on the proper term.
I'll have to find out the official name for this alley set up.
Pretty sure those cylinders on the platform are transformers.
