Hooked on House Tours - The Beckham's LA Italian villa ...

Julia at Hooked on Houses is having a blog tour today.

Let's peek into the Beckhams’ H-shaped, Italian villa-style mansion located at a 90210 zip code. Nine bathrooms and a swimming pool behind iron gates at the end of a private drive sitting on approximately 1.25-acre parcel has city and ocean views.

The twenties inspired Italian Villa was designed by internationally renowned Tim Morrison. It includes 6 bedrooms in the 13,000+ square foot home. The asking price was 22 mil.

The celebrity power couple paid $18,200,000 for the newly built home. More info here.

LOVE the kitchen & the hexagon island.

Here is a homemade video of a tour guide & some teens driving by. Tom Cruise's yard guy can be seen hauling a hose next to their open gate. The roof of the Beckham home can be seen. It sure is close to the road & apparently across the street from Tom & Katie. Then Dr. Phil lives down the street on the same side as the Beckhams. If you believe everything the guy says & if the tape wasn't edited.

Hope you enjoyed the peek. I TRIED to find info on a house for sale in town. Then became interested in properties of Dr. Phil, but the Breck's villa won out.

I love a good celebrity house tour! Thanks! Can you imagine a street where the Beckhams, the Cruises, and the McGraws are all neighbors?! I wonder if they ever have block parties or bridge nights? Somehow it's hard to picture.

Thanks for joining the blog party! -Julia :-)

That kitchen is like a "I died and went to heaven" sort of kitchen, isn't it? ;)

Come take a peek at my open house if you get a chance :)

Love that you posted this Villa - it's great to peak into the lives of the rich and famous. I'm not sure what I would do with all that space. Probably wander around with my martini!

Deion Sanders has a scooter to scoot around his villa.

Can't really get over how close to the streets those multi million dollar homes are.

I love that kitchen.

I can't find Dr Phil's house that is for sale on-line anywhere. ~sigh~

I should have gone into entertainment. Or married me a soccer player. So jealous of that kitchen.

I saw an interview with him and he said he's quite compulsive and likes to vacuum the rugs in perfectly straight lines.

I'm having a hard time imagining him with the Dyson on a Saturday morning, but who knows!

Thanks for the celebrity tour!

Would love to see some after pics from since they've moved in.

Dr. Phil has more than one LA property. He purchased & is selling his son Jay's home. It was a college graduation gift. Dr. & Mrs. Phil are downsizing to a smaller property. I'll try to find the links.

Jay's property was on a hill & had several stories & was a recent build.

First, I love the name of your blog. Too cute!

And that's a whole lot going on in the neighborhood, too, huh?! I can just see Mrs. Dr. Phil and Posh out for a morning walk together. ;-)

That's definitely a case for having more money than you know what to do with . . .

Great idea for the tour, the Beckhams fascinate me the way a car wreck is fascinating - I just can't look away. Interesting that they have such a large kitchen - I understand she eats a grape a day. Although I guess they do feed the children from time to time.

Thanks for stopping by my house tour too!

Jennifer -

Couldn't go directly to that url, but I found the legos on the site.

I guess in Italy they are short on building materials !
